Blade Element
HP Integrity rx2620 Server Description
The HP Integrity rx2620 server is 2U high and weighs 46 pounds (25 kilograms), is
rackmountable, has redundant AC power feeds, and provides front-to-rear cooling.
Each HP Integrity rx2620 server contains:
Component Description
One processor element (PE) A single 1.3 GHz 3 MB
Intel® Itanium® microprocessor
with its associated 4 GB or 8 GB memory. The memory is
accessed from the top of the enclosure when the
enclosure is pulled forward on its rails.
One ServerNet PCI Adapter
Card
Used for ServerNet fabric connections. One PCI card is
installed in slot 2.
One DVD drive Contains the HSS Boot CD. The CD must remain in the
blade element. The CD cannot be ejected until the blade
element is powered off.
Two power supplies Provides power to the blade element. The power supplies
are accessed from the back of the enclosure.
Four fans
(contained in three fan
assemblies)
Provides cooling for the system, memory, and P.CI card.
The fans are accessed from the top of the enclosure
when the enclosure is pulled forward on its rails
Field-Replaceable Units (FRUs) These components can be replaced by service providers
