Reference Number
The locator button and LED
are used to help locate this
server within a rack of
servers.When the button is
engaged, the blue LED
illuminates and an
additional blue LED on the
rear panel of the server
illuminates.
On/OffLocator LED and button1
The four diagnostic LEDs
operate in conjunction with
the system LED to provide
diagnostic information
about the system.
On/OffDiagnostic LEDs2
The LAN LED provides
status information about the
LAN interface. When the
LAN LED is flashing, there
is activity on the LAN.
Flashing/OffLAN LED3
The System LED indicates
problems with the system
hardware.The color of the
LED indicates error
conditions.
• Green - there are no
warnings or faults.
• Yellow - an unread
system event that should
be reviewed is present in
the system log.
• Red - a serious fault
condition exists.
The state of the LED
indicates the OS operation.
• Blinking - the OS is not
running.
• Solid - the OS is running
and controlling the
system’s power switch.
