Fibre Channel Ports to Fibre Channel Disk Modules
Fibre Channel disk modules (FCDMs) can be connected directly to the Fibre Channel ports on
a VIO enclosure (see “Blade Element to VIO Enclosure” (page 79)) with these exceptions:
• Only configurations with two VIO enclosures are supported.
• Up to four FCDMs (or up to four daisy-chained configurations with each daisy-chain
configuration containing 4 FCDMs) can be connected to the embedded Fibre Channel ports
on a VIO enclosure in the Integrity NonStop NS1000 system.
