Connections from a VIO enclosure to a Model 6780 cluster switch can use single-mode fiber-optic
(SMF) cabling.

Dedicated Service LAN Cables
The system also uses Category 5, unshielded twisted-pair Ethernet cables for the internal dedicated
service LAN and for connections between the VIO enclosure and the application LAN equipment.
