Example 16-Processor Triplex System Cabling
IOAM is the two-controller, two-Fibre Channel disk module configuration shown in
detail in Two FCSAs, Two FCDMs, One IOAM Enclosure on page 6-26.

Example 16-Processor Triplex System Cabling
The next two illustrations are an example of a 16-processor triplex system with four
cabinets. The first illustration shows the cabinets that house the NonStop Blade
Elements, LSUs, and p-switches; the second illustration shows the two cabinets that
house the IOAM enclosures and Fibre Channel disk modules.
This illustration shows simplified, conceptual representations of the X and Y ServerNet
cabling between the NonStop Blade Elements, LSUs, p-switches, and IOAM
enclosures. It also shows the cabling between cabinets using overhead cable handling
equipment rather than under-floor cable routing. To simplify the drawing, power and
Ethernet cables are not shown. For cable-by-cable interconnect diagrams, see Internal
ServerNet Interconnect Cabling on page 6-3.
