• If G4SAs are used to configure the maintenance LAN, connect the G4SA that configures
$ZTCP0 to one maintenance switch, and connect the other G4SA that configures $ZTCP1 to
the second maintenance switch.
• One E4SA, FESA, or GESA on the X fabric to the first maintenance switch
• One E4SA, FESA, or GESA on the X fabric to the second maintenance switch
• One connection to the UPS (optional) for power-fail monitoring
• One connection to the Fibre Channel to SCSI converter (optional) for Fibre Channel tape

DHCP, TFTP, and DNS Windows-Based Services
DHCP, TFTP, and DNS Windows-based services are required for NonStop NS16000 series systems
with CLIMs. These services can reside either on the primary and backup system consoles or on a
pair of CLuster I/O Modules (CLIMs). By default for commercial NonStop NS16000 series systems,
HP ships these services on NonStop system consoles. You can move these services from the system
consoles to CLIMs or from the CLIMs to system consoles. Procedures for moving these services are
