see the NonStop BladeSystem Planning Guide.
NonStop BladeSystem Options
NonStop BladeSystems offer a variety of configuration options to suit different customer needs. For
more information, see the NonStop BladeSystem Planning Guide.
Volume level encryption is supported on NonStop BladeSystems that are licensed to support it. If
your system is licensed for volume level encryption, you can encrypt disk and tape volumes that
are connected to the system with a Storage CLIM. See the NonStop CLuster I/O Module (CLIM)
Installation and Configuration Guide for details.
Core licensing is supported on NonStop BladeSystems NB54000c, NB54000c-cg, NB56000c,
and NB56000c-cg. The core license file can be updated to increase the number of microprocessor
cores (IPUs) enabled in a processor. See the NonStop BladeSystem Planning Guide for details.
HP Power Regulator can provide centralized control of server power consumption on NonStop
BladeSystems NB54000c, NB54000c-cg, NB56000c, and NB56000c-cg. To set up Power
Regulator, first use the OSM Service Connection to enable Power Regulator, then immediately use
Insight Control Power Management to set the Power Regulator mode. See HP SIM for NonStop
Manageability for these procedures, Power Regulator modes, and minimum requirements.
