Web ViewPoint NonStop Storage Analyzer Plug-In
NonStop Storage Analyzer, a Web ViewPoint plug-in, is an automated, web-based software tool
you use to analyze the performance of and manage NonStop disk storage resources. It automatically
scans an entire NonStop system to provide detailed GUI snapshots of all existing disks and files.
This information is organized into several GUI views of both physical and logical disk storage.
Based on user-defined thresholds, it generates alerts for exception conditions in EMS event messages
that you can forward to various destinations. These alerts serve as an early warning trigger on
unacceptable disk or file usage levels or changes in configuration features (for example, file security
and licensing).
The Web ViewPoint NonStop Storage Analyzer plug-in’s main display screen provides information
about total disk utilization, disk utilization by group, and utilization by users in a group. It displays
information about individual disk volumes , summaries of physical disk usage, partition files, and
fragmented files. You can drill down to a particular disk to obtain information about its files and
to perform operations on those files. See Figure 2 (page 74).

The main screen has three tabs: Utilization, Volumes, and Summary. The left side contains a
hierarchical format tree with a single resident node at its root.
