target application server processes of the cluster for use in subsequent decision-
making.
Installing and Building the WS Plug-in
The iTP WebServer is required if you plan to use BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 SP3 with
the WS Plug-in. The following iTP WebServer product versions are supported:
T8996H01
T8997H01
1. Start an OSS Shell
Start an Open Systems Services (OSS) shell and navigate to the WS Plug-in
installation directory (usually /usr/tandem/wlhpns/T2924H13).
Note that if you are installing the WS Plug-in on a system separate from the WebLogic
Server, you must copy the T2924PAX file to that system and unpax it before you
proceed with the following steps.
2. Run the WS Plug-in Script
Run the WS Plug-in install script in /usr/tandem/wlhpns/T2924H13.
/usr/tandem/wlhpns/T2924H13/install-plugin.sh
The install-plugin.sh script must be run using a user id that has sufficient
privilege to remove the current contents of the
iTP WebServer product installation/bin/rmt directory.
The script copies the files from directory /usr/tandem/wlhpns/T2924H13 to the
iTP Secure WebServer directory, usually /usr/tandem/webserver/bin/rmt. If
you want to install the WS Plug-in files into a different directory, use the -i option to
specify the base directory of the target webserver.
