The Manager Web Application User Interface
The WAR or Directory URL field specifies a URL for the application's directory or a
WAR file on the HP NonStop server. For example, if the application is located in the
directory /usr/appls/newAppl, you must specify /usr/appls/newAppl in the
WAR or Directory file URL field.
You can also install a web application directory or WAR file located in the host's
appBase directory (for information on appBase directory, see Host Object on
page C-2) by specifying the WAR file name without the .war extension in the WAR or
Directory URL field. For example, if a WAR file named myAppl.war exists in the
host's appBase directory, you must specify myAppl in the WAR or Directory URL
field.
You can install a web application using a <context>.xml file and an optional WAR
file or web application directory, if the host's deployXML property is enabled. For
information on deployXML property, see Host Object on page C-2.
You can also upload a WAR file from a workstation and install it in your virtual host.
The context path of the new application will be /servlet_jsp/<file name>
without .war extension. Use Browse to select a WAR file to upload the file to the
server from your workstation.
