NSJSP Manager Operations
Figure 4-36 shows the Web Application Deployment from Desktop window.
Table 4-25 lists the attributes displayed under Web Application Deployment from
Desktop on the Application Deployment page.
Admin Operations
To change an NSJSP configuration manually edit the configuration files, and then
manually restart the NSJSP environment for the changes to take effect. However, it is
also possible to make changes dynamically without stopping the NSJSP environment.
The Admin tab of NSJSP Manager provides this capability to update the configuration
file changes and propagate those changes to every running processess in the NSJSP
Server Class in an NSJSP environment.
Starting from 7.0, the NSJSP Manager can be used to examine and modify container
configuration such as Server, Service, Host, Engine, and Web Application (context).
The container configuration is present in server.xml file, and web application

Attribute Description
Select a .war file to
upload
The Browse... button by this field must be used to select the
.war file that you want to deploy. The Browse... button allows
you to view the desktop and to navigate the workstation file
system to select the file to upload.
Context name The context name to use for the application.
Deploy Button used to deploy the application.
Note. If NSJSP environment is configured in an ACS environment comprising two
PATHMONS, the admin feature of NSJSP7.0 updates the server class processes in both the
PATHMONS. Also note that they use the same configuration files.
