This appendix describes the command line tool to manage the NSJSP Manager
application users. It also describes how the new roles are defined, users are created
and digest algorithms are used to encrypt the passwords using this tool.

How to Use the Tool to Manage the Users of NSJSP Manager
Overview
The purpose of this tool is to allow you to manage the users logging in to the NSJSP
Manager application. This can be used to define new roles, create users, and assign
encrypted passwords to the users.
This tool must be used only for managing the users present in <NSJSP manager
installation directory>/conf/nsjsp-users.xml file of NSJSP Manager
application and not other NSJSP installations.
Figure A-1 shows the mechanism of creating users and roles for NSJSP Manager.
Note. The new users and roles created are available only when the NSJSP Manager
application is restarted.
