3.2 NONSTOP SPAM LICENSING
NonStop SPAM clients require a valid license before data can be analyzed. If the client PC has Internet
access the licensing process activates NonStop automatically. If the PC does not have Internet access
then the User needs to provide the Publisher with details to obtain a manual license via E-mail.
In both scenarios the User will be required to complete a registration transmission with User
Information. The most easiest way to do this is to send a Print Screen image of your License screen
under the Manage screen. To get there click Manage --- > NonStop Server Connections --- > License.
Licenses are granted using a NonStop server serial number and will be updated based on the license
type purchased in association with the particular NonStop server. Please provide the serial number.
Please also include the System type e.g. the RVU and number of NonStop processors.
** IMPORTANT NOTE ** THE NONSTOP SYSTEM SERIAL NUMBER MUST BE EXACT (Including leading
zeroes). It is recommended that you use SYSINFO or an equivalent to verify that you have the exact
system serial number before attempting the install and registration process. If you have licensing issues
then contact Performancemanagement@hp.com for assistance.
Activation Request details:
For Users without internet access to the World Wide Web, i.e. networks with high security, the licenses
are not automatically provided for NonStop or the Plugin products. A License Request is required only
for these Users.
1. Please email the System Serial, System Name, System Address, System Port and a screen shot of
the license screen on NonStop to performancemanagement@hp.com.
Manage --- > NonStop Server Connections --- > License
2. Provide the Product Name e.g. NonStop SPAM, Product Version e.g. H01, Product SPR e.g. AAD
as there are many types of requests that route to this Email Address.
