CHAPTER 6: UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
– PC COMPONENTS

This section explains how to uninstall NonStop SPAM.
For a detailed removal i.e. a User wanting a clean slate these are the steps:
1. Go to Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs
2. Remove the following:
 For SQL Server Express:
Microsoft SQL Server Setup Support Files
Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer (Deleted via the option above)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
 For SQL Servers that cannot be removed launch Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Express
Connect to the Server named during PMC Setup
Right click on PMCConfig and click delete
Right click on any databases starting with PMC and click delete
 NonStop SPAM
3. NonStop SPAM needs to be completely removed including any remaining files under
C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\NonStop SPAM
