The external Open SCSI bus can be connected in one of two configurations: single-path
or dual-path.

Figure 1-1 shows a typical single-path Open SCSI bus configuration with a single
external device. This configuration requires that the external device be equipped
with a terminator.

Figure 1-2 shows a typical dual-path Open SCSI bus configuration with a single
external device. This configuration does not require that the external device be
equipped with a terminator.
