File-System (FESTATUS) Error-Code Values
190 FEDEVERR This is a generic, catch-all error code used when there is
some problem communicating with the device and the
IOP cannot return a more specific error status.
193 FENOMICROCODE The controller detected invalid microcode when it was
started. The controller is not operational and should be
reloaded.
200 FEOWNERSHIP Check for one of the following causes:
The backup IOP received a request that should have
gone to the primary IOP.
The controller port for this processor is not enabled.
201 FEPATHDOWN Check for one of the following causes:
The current path to the specified device is down.
A request specified a path that is down.
210 FEOWNABORT Ownership changed during an I/O operation. This error
code is normally returned if a processor fails during an
I/O operation.
213 FECHPARITY A parity error was detected on the I/O control path or
channel.
214 FECHTIMEOUT A channel timeout occurred.
218 FEINTTIMEOUT A timeout occurred during a wait for an interrupt from
an I/O operation.
219 FEILLRECON There was an illegal reconnect sequence on the channel.
221 FEHANDSHAKE A controller handshake error occurred.
222 FEBADEIOSTAT Bad status was returned from an execute I/O (EIO)
command.
223 FEBADIIOSTAT Bad status was returned from an interrogate I/O (IIO)
command.
224 FECTLERR An unspecified controller error occurred.
230 FECPUPON The processor experienced a power-on cycle.
231 FEIOPON The I/O subsystem experienced a power-on cycle.
3504 FEREQUESTUNSUPPORTED
This error code is mapped by the file system to an FEINVALOP (2) error code.
This means the application should never see this error code, and that all causes of
this error code and all places in this manual where this error code is specified
should be translated into FEINVALOP.
