Example of an INFO SCSI Detailed Report
Path Information
The following Open SCSI device access path information is listed for the primary and
backup paths in the detailed report produced by the INFO SCSI, DETAIL command.
SCSI ID shows the SCSI ID of the Open SCSI device. This is the
address used by the Open SCSI IOP to access the device. SCSI
ID numbers are in the range 0 through 5.
StructAreaSize shows the amount of memory (in 1-kilobyte units) to be
allocated for data structures by the Open SCSI IOP.
TraceBufLen shows the amount of memory (in 1-kilobyte units) to be
allocated for internal trace data by the Open SCSI IOP.
TraceLevel shows the internal IOP trace level.
* indicates an attribute whose value you can change with the
SCF ALTER SCSI command. For further information, see
Altering Open SCSI Attribute Values
on page 5-7.
Adapter Name shows the name of the PMF CRU, IOMF CRU, or 6760
ServerNet/DA that controls this access path to the Open SCSI
device. This value is determined by the physical location of
the PMF CRU, IOMF CRU, or 6760 ServerNet/DA in the
system.
Adapter Location
(Group, Module,
Slot)
shows the group, module, and slot number of that PMF CRU,
IOMF CRU, or 6760 ServerNet/DA.
SAC Name shows the name of the ServerNet addressable controller (SAC)
located in that PMF CRU, IOMF CRU, or 6760
ServerNet/DA. This value is determined by the physical
location of the SAC in the system.
SAC SCSI ID shows the SCSI ID of the SAC, sometimes known as the host
adapter ID. For Open SCSI devices, this SCSI ID is either 6 or
7.
SAC Subdevice shows the subdevice number of the SAC in that PMF CRU,
IOMF CRU, or 6760 ServerNet/DA. For Open SCSI devices,
this number is always 5. This number determines which SCSI
bus is used to access the Open SCSI device.
