The following subsections describe the fields in the STATUS SCSI detailed report.
SCSI Path Information
The following Open SCSI device path information is provided in the detailed report
produced by the STATUS SCSI, DETAIL command:
SCSI-Specific Information
The following SCSI-specific information is provided in the detailed report produced by
the STATUS SCSI, DETAIL command:
LDev shows the logical device number for the Open SCSI device. This
number is arbitrarily assigned to a device when the device is
configured and every time the system is loaded.
Path shows the Open SCSI device path assignments.
Status shows whether this Open SCSI device path is the current path
(ACTIVE) or not (INACTIVE).
State shows the current SCF object state of this Open SCSI device path
(see Table 6-1
on page 6-1).
Primary PID shows the processor number and PIN of the current primary
Open SCSI I/O process.
Backup PID shows the processor number and PIN of the current backup Open
SCSI I/O process.
Pending I/Os shows the current number of pending I/O requests against
the Open SCSI process.
High Pending I/Os shows the highest number of pending I/O requests that
have been outstanding against the Open SCSI device at
one time since the Open SCSI IOP was started.
Opens shows the current number of requesters that have the
Open SCSI I/O process open.
Max Open shows the maximum number of open requests allowed at
one time by the Open SCSI IOP.
Open Paths shows the number of paths currently opened by the Open
SCSI IOP.
Max I/O Requests shows the maximum number of open requests allowed by
the Open SCSI IOP.
