*OSI/TS does not implement the quality-of-service parameter.
Called address
Specifies the transport service access point (TSAP) address
of the responding (remote) transport user.
Calling address Specifies the TSAP address of the initiating (local)
transport user.
Expedited data Requests transport-expedited data service. This service
bypasses normal Transport Layer, flow-control
mechanisms. It is available in classes 1, 2, 3, and 4.
The transport-expedited data option does not imply
network-expedited data service. Network-expedited data
service is not used.
If the expedited data option is not selected in the connect
indication, it cannot be selected in the response. If it is
selected in the indication, the responder can reject it by not
selecting it in the response. If expedited data is not
negotiated and an application attempts to send it, OSI/TS
returns file-system error 2 (invalid operation).
Quality of service Specifies a set of parameters. Each parameter represents a
characteristic that affects the quality of a transport
connection. These characteristics include throughput,
transit delay, residual error rate, and failure probability.
The parameters are available for the transport entity to use
while negotiating the transport class. OSI/TS does not
supply or respond to quality of service parameters.
