Managing a Transport Connection
OSI/TS Configuration and Management Manual424831-001
6-4
Building the CR-TPDU
TPDU. The default value is 4. You can use SCF to alter this parameter. Note that this
parameter is subject to change, based on the content of the CC-TPDU.
DST-REF (Octets 3 and 4)
OSI/TS sets the DST-REF (destination reference) parameter to 0. The remote transport
entity uses this field to assign its own unique internal reference to the connection. Note
that this parameter is subject to change, based on the content of the CC-TPDU.
SRC-REF (Octets 5 and 6)
The local OSI/TS transport entity assigns an SRC-REF (source reference) value, which
is a unique, internal reference to each transport connection.
Protocol Class (Octet 7)
OSI/TS sets the protocol class to the configured value. If there is none, the class is
selected on the basis of the algorithm in Table 6-2. The subnetwork types referred to in
Table 6-2
are described in Table 6-3. You can use SCF to alter this parameter. Note that
this parameter is subject to change, based on the content of the CC-TPDU.
Options (Octet 7)
The options parameter contains two kinds of information:
