Description
The first form of the syntax is equivalent to the SCREEN COBOL statement:
ACCEPT {
screen-identifier
}... UNTIL
comp-condition-1
ESCAPE [ON]
comp-condition-2
where
comp-condition-2
has no timeout value.
The second form is equivalent to the SCREEN COBOL statement:
ACCEPT {
screen-identifier
}... UNTIL
comp-condition-1
ESCAPE [ON]
comp-condition-2
where
comp-condition-2
specifies a timeout value.
Parameters
fieldIDs An array of ScreenIdentifier objects; corresponds
to
screen-identifier
s in the ACCEPT
statement
untilFuncKeys An array of FunctionKey objects corresponding to
the function keys associated with the UNTIL
clause of the ACCEPT statement
escFuncKeys An array of FunctionKey objects corresponding to
the function keys associated with the ESCAPE
clause of the ACCEPT statement
timeout The value corresponding to the TIMEOUT clause
of the ACCEPT statement
timeoutTerminationStatus
The value to which
ScobolLib.terminationStatus is set in the
event of a timeout
