The following INITIALIZE RDF command, issued on the primary system \LON after TMF was stopped,
deleted, and reconfigured, initializes RDF at once, without prompting you to confirm your request:
]INITIALIZE RDF, BACKUPSYSTEM \CHI, SUFFIX 2 !
In the first example, the RDF control subvolume is implicitly named LON while in the second example
it is explicitly named LON2.
LIST
The LIST UPDATERFILEOPENS command displays the number of files that are currently open by
the Updater processes and optionally writes a report of the statistics onto a file or a spooler.
LIST UPDATERFILEOPENS { process-name | * } [ ,PERIOD seconds ] [ ,COUNT
repeat ] [ ,REPORT filename ]
process-name
Name of the Updater process. * denotes all Updaters in the configuration.
PERIOD seconds
Specifies the time interval in seconds between successive executions of the command.
COUNT repeat
Specifies how many times to execute the particular LIST command. If you omit the
COUNT repeat option but include the PERIOD seconds option, the command is
executed repeatedly at the specified time intervals until you press the BREAK key.
REPORT filename
This option redirects the command output to the specified file or spooler location

RDF State Requirement
You can run this command only when RDF is up and when RDF Updaters are running.
Usage Guidelines
Report Generation:
LIST UPDATERFILEOPENS command optionally supports the generation of the Updater file statistics
on to a file or a spooler. The following checks will be performed in this scenario:
File has to be an EDIT file.
Validity of the filename.
Validity of the Spooler location.
The command supports the following scenarios:
Fully qualified or partially qualified filenames.
When a partially qualified nonexistent file is specified, the command creates the file in the
local subvolume where the command is executed.
