Command Overview
PAGESIZE 5-89 Sets the terminal screen size and printer page size.
PARAM 5-90 Changes, adds, and displays PARAM values passed to a
process initiated by the SCF RUN command.
PAUSE 5-92 Suspends SCF and allows the terminal to be used by another
process. This command is usually used in conjunction with the
RUN command.
PRIMARY 5-93 Causes the backup processor to become the primary
processor and the primary processor to become the backup
processor.
PROBE 5-94 Verifies that the link between two or more objects is
operational.
RELEASE 5-96 Releases, or returns, an object’s file space for reuse by the
subsystem.
RENAME 5-97 Changes the name of an object.
REPEAT 5-98 Causes the remainder of the command line to be repeated for
a specific number of iterations or until the Break key is
pressed.
REPLACE 5-99 Installs a new version of an object while the object is executing
RESET 5-100 Moves an object to a state from which it can be started.
RUN 5-101 Runs another program from within SCF.
SAVE 5-103 Archives a copy of the system configuration database file.
SETMANAGER 5-105 Allows the explicit setting of a subsystem manager process
name.
SETPROMPT 5-107 Changes the information contained in the command-line
prompt.
START 5-109 Initiates the operation of an object previously defined to a
subsystem.
STATS 5-111 Displays the accumulated statistics for an object and optionally
resets them.
STATUS 5-113 Displays the status of an object.
STOP 5-115 Terminates the operation of an object in an orderly manner.
STOPOPENS 5-117 Prevents any additional opens to an object.
SUSPEND 5-118 Restricts the use of the connections both to and from an
object. Application requests, except close requests, are
rejected. The SUSPEND command places the object into the
SUSPENDED state.
SWITCH 5-119 Causes a backup object to become a primary object and vice
versa.
