ASSUME Command

Examples

This INFO command displays information about all workstations attached to line
$LINE1:
-> ASSUME LINE $LINE1
-> INFO WS *

This command causes SCF to route the ADD command to the storage subsystem
even if the $DATA disk does not exist:
-> ASSUME SENDTO STORAGE
-> ADD DISK $DATA

This ASSUME command clears any assumed subsystem name:
-> ASSUME SENDTO
•
This command clears any assumed object type or object name:
-> ASSUME
