About This Manual
This manual describes the operation of the Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) on HP
Integrity NonStop NS-series servers and how it is used to configure, control, and
inquire about supported subsystems.
SCF is the online configuration and management facility for H-series RVUs. SCF
enables you to configure and reconfigure devices, processes, and some system
variables without having to take your Integrity NonStop server offline. SCF is an
integral part of a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week operational environment.
