Common Error Messages
-00987
Cause. A security error occurred. A requester must have a user ID of -1 to be
permitted to send a REQID token in the command buffer.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Obtain the proper authority, if possible, and retry the command.
-00989
Cause. The Subsystem Control Point (SCP) has successfully canceled the
requester’s previous command.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
-00990
Cause. The context token received is invalid, causing the requester to copy the
context token incorrectly from the previous SCP message.
Effect. SCF terminates.
Recovery. As described under If You Have to Call Your Service Provider on page B-2,
save pertinent information and contact your service provider.
-00991
Cause. The Subsystem Control Point (SCP) requester control block table is full.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Start up another SCP process and try again.
