Common Error Messages
-00996
Cause. The subsystem server responded negatively to SCP’s initial GETVERSION
command.
Effect. SCF terminates.
Recovery. As described under If You Have to Call Your Service Provider on page B-2,
save pertinent information and contact your service provider.
-00997
Cause. The associated tokens returned by the subsystem in response to the
Subsystem Control Point’s (SCP’s) initial GETVERSION command are invalid.
Effect. SCF terminates.
Recovery. As described under If You Have to Call Your Service Provider on page B-2,
save pertinent information and contact your service provider.
-00998
Cause. The server version is not valid.
Effect. SCF terminates.
Recovery. As described under If You Have to Call Your Service Provider on page B-2,
save pertinent information and contact your service provider.
-00999
Cause. The name contained in the manager token received by the Subsystem Control
Point (SCP) is invalid.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Wait and try the command again. If this error still occurs, save pertinent
information and contact your service provider, as described under If You Have to Call
Your Service Provider on page B-2.
