Assigning the SCFCSTM Custom File
interactive mode. A message is generated when the file is to be executed. To use an
SCFCSTM file at another location, enter this TACL command:
[[[\ system .]$ volume. ] subvolume .]SCFCSTM
is the local or remote location of the SCFCSTM file.
Considerations
•
If the SCFCSTM file does not exist when you start SCF, SCF creates one to
reserve the file name. It contains only a comment.
•
The execution of the file is similar to an OBEY command with the NOECHO option.
That is, each SCF command is implemented without any output to the terminal.

If SCF is run on a remote system (for example, you issue the command
\REMOTE.SCF where \REMOTE is not your local system), SCF is not able to
locate the SCFCSTM file. You receive a warning message stating that the location
of the SCF custom file cannot be determined. To provide remote customization,
specify either a local or remote SCFCSTM file in an ASSIGN command entered
before the \REMOTE.SCF command.

In this example, you assign an existing SCF custom file on your local system to the
SCF process running on a remote system named \REMOTE:
-> ASSIGN SCFCSTM, $DISK3.MYSUBVOL.SCFCSTM
-> \REMOTE.SCF
