e
Cause. There is insufficient memory available to handle a request from some other
process.
Effect. The request is rejected.
Recovery. Storage overflow can occur for several reasons:
Insufficient memory
You might have initiated the process with a fixed amount of memory and it has
proven insufficient. Examine the DATAPAGES configuration parameter and adjust as
needed.
Insufficient disk space
Even though you have allowed for extensible memory requirements, the swap volume
may not have sufficient space to accommodate your needs. You should suspect this
cause if this is not the first occurrence of this event.
Overload of process
You might be making too many demands on the process in question. Examine your
load configuration.
