: Storage exhausted
Cause. There is insufficient memory available to satisfy internal needs.
Effect. The SNAX/HLS process process process name terminates.
Recovery. Storage overflow can occur for several reasons:
Insufficient memory—You might have initiated the process with a fixed amount of
memory and it has proven insufficient. Examine the DATAPAGES startup
argument and adjust as needed.
Insufficient disk space—Even though you have allowed for extensible memory
requirements, the swap volume may not have sufficient space to accommodate
your needs. You should suspect this cause if this is not the first occurrence of this
event.
Overload of process—You might be making too many demands on the process in
question. Examine your load configuration.

e
: Takeover by backup; recovery in progress
Cause. A takeover has just occurred: the old backup has assumed the role of the
primary process.
Effect. Recovery is performed. The backup process now assumes the role of the
primary process and attempts to restart a backup in the processor that previously held
the primary. Thus, you can expect to see a message that indicates that a new backup
has been started or that the startup attempt has failed.
Recovery. If this message follows an HLSCOM ABEND command, the message is
informational.
If the message arrived unexpectedly, you might want to check that all current
SNAX/HLS operations are intact. You might also want to examine previous error
messages and log messages to find why the primary abended.
If the HLSCOM process was processing a command, reissue the command.
