Verifying Software Versions

Verify that you have compatible product versions of these necessary software products

on a NonStop system:

•

Verifying the SQL/MX UDR Server on page 2-3

•

Verifying the NonStop Server for Java on page 2-4

•

Verifying the JDBC/MX Driver on page 2-4

Verifying the SQL/MX UDR Server

To display the product version of the SQL/MX UDR server, enter this vproc command

at an OSS prompt:

vproc /G/SYSTEM/SYSTEM/MXUDR

The command displays output similar to:

Compare the output of the command with the product version in the T1230 SOFTDOC

file. If you have an incompatible product version of the SQL/MX UDR server on your

system, see the SQL/MX Installation and Management Guide for instructions about

installing the correct release of NonStop SQL/MX. For version compatibility, see

Table 2-1

on page 2-2.

On systems running G-series RVUs, the JDK and JDBCMX versions shown in the

output represent the NonStop Server for Java and JDBC/MX driver, respectively, that

are bound into the SQL/MX UDR server. Compare the product versions in the SQL/MX

UDR server with the product versions in the Java environment. To display the product

versions in the Java environment, see:

If product versions differ, the behavior of the SPJs might be unpredictable. To bind the

correct versions of the NonStop Server for Java and the JDBC/MX driver into the

SQL/MX UDR server on systems running G-series RVUs, see Relinking the SQL/MX
