BURSTINTERVAL
The BURSTINTERVAL command sets the number of hours that a rediscovery incident
will be part of a burst. With BURSTSUPPRESSION enabled, no entry is created in the
incident database, and no event is sent to the maintenance log ($ZLOG).
hours
is the number of hours a rediscovery incident will be part of a burst. The hour
range is 0 through 600. The default value is 336 hours.
Guidelines
•
You can use the abbreviation bi in place of BURSTINTERVAL.
•
You must set BURSTSUPPRESSION to ON for BURSTINTERVAL to start.
•
BURSTINTERVAL does not override the BURSTSUPPRESSION setting.
•
For a suppressed incidents report, use the TASKS command.
Example
BURSTINTERVAL 24

through 101. The default value is 15.
