TFDSCOM Commands
•
You are not prompted for authorization to purge associated files of an incident, so
use caution.
Example
CLOSE 101
CONFIG
The CONFIG command displays the current TFDS configuration settings set as
defaults in the TFDS configuration file or altered through TFDSCOM commands. If you
save the configuration file, changes made to settings by TFDSCOM commands remain
in effect after you stop and restart TFDS.
Guidelines
•
You can use the abbreviation c in place of CONFIG.
•
The CONFIG command:
°
Lists all of the eligible processors (0 through 15)
°
Indicates (with an XX) which processors are ENABLED, DISABLED, or
IGNORED
°
Displays the STATUS of the processors with a 2-letter code. Possible STATUS
code values are:
•
The CONFIG DETAIL command output displays the file names assigned to the
ACQUIREFILES parameter (if applicable) and indicates if these files are
permanent or temporary. Temporary files are file names that were added with the
ACQUIREFILES TEMP option. These file names are cleared when the active
backup has completed, the incident has been captured or if TFDS is stopped.
•
The CONFIG DETAIL command output displays the file names assigned to the
EXCLUDEFILES parameter (if applicable) and indicates if these files are
permanent or temporary. Temporary files are file names that were added with the
CONFIG [DETAIL]
Caution. If the first physical processor number configured is not processor 0, you must add a
DISABLECPUS option for each processor number lower than the number of the first physical
processor (down to 0) configured to avoid receiving an incorrect list of enabled processors with
the TFDSCOM CONFIG command. An incorrect list of enabled processors does not adversely
affect the normal operation of TFDS software.
