TFDSCOM Commands
RETRY-DUMP
The RETRY-DUMP command sets the number of attempts TFDS makes to dump
memory contents if the initial dump is unsuccessful.
retry-number
represents the number of times TFDS attempts to dump a processor. The dump
range is 0 through 2. The default value is 1.
RELOAD-ON-FAILURE
lets the processor automatically reload despite the failure of a TFDS dump. This
option applies only to SMR processors.
REINTEGRATE-ON-FAILURE
reintegrates the dumped NSBE despite the failure of a TFDS dump. This option
does not apply to SMR processors.
Guidelines
In SMR processors, if the TFDS dump fails and the RELOAD-ON-FAILURE option
is specified, the processor is still reloaded. The processor remains down if the
TFDS dump fails and the RELOAD-ON-FAILURE is not specified. This approach
enables you to continue efforts to obtain a valid processor dump.
In DMR and TMR processors, if the TFDS dump fails and the REINTEGRATE-ON-
FAILURE option is specified, the NSBE left in the stopped state is reintegrated.
Rec. incident database record number.
Date Time Incident occurrence date and time.
# Number of recurrences (displayed only for initial incidents).
Root Record number of the initial occurrence of this type of
incident. If blank, this is the root or initial incident.
Halt Processor halt code.
Product Product number; available only for TFDS instrumented
programs (NA if not available).
Symptom String Information collected during error processing, used to
uniquely identify the location of a fault; composed of Company
Identifier, Product Identifier, Program Name, Source Filename,
and DIP ID.
