TFDSCOM Commands
Command accepted
indicates the termination request was accepted by the TFDS helper process.
Helper not running
indicates the TFDS helper process is not running on this processor.
Helper not responding
indicates a time-out occurred when attempting to communicate with the TFDS
helper process.
Helper on wrong CPU
indicates the TFDS helper process for this processor is running on a different
processor.
CPU down
indicates the processor is down.
Error text specifying interface problem with TFDS helper.
Error text returned from TFDS helper.
Example
This example stops all TFDS helper processes in the system:
TFDS STOP HELPERS ALL
TRACE
The TRACE command allows you to start or stop tracing or change the current tracing
level of the TFDS monitor process.
parameter
specifies what tracing activity is to occur:
•
level sets the level (0 to 4) of trace data collected.
•
abend forces abend of the TFDS process (debug on).
•
activetasks copies the active tasks list to tracebuf0.
•
clr0 clears the trace file for buf0.
•
clr1 clears the history buffer.
•
conton sets continuous capturing of trace information.
•
contof clears continuous capturing of trace information.
