TFDSCOM Commands
•
debug toggles the debug flag (abend/saveabend/close).
•
flags displays the status of continuous capture, time and trace level.
•
flush flushes tables and the trace buffer to the file tracefil.
•
flushc flushes the trace buffer to the file tracecom.
•
flush0 flushes the trace buffer to file tracefil.
•
flush1 flushes and clears the history buffer to the file tracefi1.
•
init sets trace 3, conton, timeon, flush0, and clr0.
•
loc sets RCVDUMP and RELOAD to local copy.
•
prtrel reloads table copied to the trace file.
•
rcderr simulates RCVDUMP error for testing recovery.
•
rlderr simulates RELOAD error for testing recovery.
•
saveabend generates a snapshot file for TFDS and then continues (debug on).
•
timeon adds a real-time time field to each trace message.
•
timeoff does not add a real-time time field to each trace message.
Guidelines
•
The TRACE command is intended for use only by HP support personnel or at their
request.
•
To enable TRACING at level 3 and conton, use TINIT when starting TFDS.

The TRACE-FILE command opens the specified file for recording trace information.
filename
specifies the fully qualified name of the Guardian file where trace data will be
written.
