STATUS AUDITTRAIL
ZTMF-MAP-Status-AuditTrail
is an extensible structured token containing information about the current state of
the active audit trail. This token contains the following fields:
ZOverflowInUse
specifies whether the overflow space for the audit trail is currently in use. The
following values are possible:
ZCapacityInUse
specifies the percentage of the active audit trail that is currently in use.
ZHoldingRenameReason
specifies the reason the audit-trail file that is defined by ZTMF-TKN-
HeldFileName is still needed by TMF. The following values are possible:
ZSPI-VAL-True The overflow space is currently in use.
ZSPI-VAL-False The overflow space is currently not in use.
Value (ZTMF-VAL- ) Description
HeldRsnUnknown The TMP has not had enough time to determine
why the oldest file is held on disk. This
message is displayed for a brief period after
TMF is started and reports a state that lasts
only briefly.
HeldRsnCurrent The audit-trail file is currently receiving audit
records.
HeldRsnNotDumped An audit dump process has been configured for
this audit trail, and this file has not yet been
copied to dump media.
HeldRsnMatAuxPtr A master audit-trail file that must remain on the
active or overflow volume contains references
to audit records in this audit-trail file. This
reason applies only to files in an auxiliary audit
trail.
HeldRsnTmpCtrlPts This audit-trail file contains control information
needed by TMF to restart after a system failure.
The control information is normally written to the
file within 10 minutes.
HeldRsnDpPermission This audit-trail file contains audit records
needed by the volume recovery process to
reapply transactions to the specified data
volume. The file is kept on the active or
overflow-audit volume so that if volume
recovery is needed, the audit file does not have
to be restored from archive media.
