STATUS DATAVOLS
Tokens in Command Buffer
ZTMF-TKN-VolumeName
specifies the data volume for which status information is to be returned. This token
must occur at least once; multiple occurrences are allowed.
ZTMF-TKN-VolumeName can also contain a wild card (value “*”, length 1). If the
wild card is specified, it must be the only instance of this token in the command
buffer. The wild card specifies that status information is to be returned for all data
volumes.
ZTMF-MAP-Status-DataVols
is an extensible structured token specifying attributes used to select the volumes
for which information is to be returned. This token is required; only one occurrence
is allowed. If multiple attributes are specified, information is returned only for
volumes that meet all the selection criteria (that is, the values are logically
“and-ed”).
If any field has a null value, the command assumes the specified default. This
token contains the following fields:
ZState
specifies that information should be returned only for data volumes in the
selected state. If the field is null, information is returned for volumes in any
state. The following values are valid:
ZTMF-VAL-DVS-Unconfigured
specifies disk volumes that are not configured as TMF data volumes or
TMF audit-trail volumes.
ZTMF-VAL-DVS-Adding
specifies volumes being added to the configuration as data volumes.
ZTMF-VAL-DVS-Starting
specifies configured volumes that are in one of the startup states
(startupbegun, awaittransresolve, queuedforrecovery, recovering, or
startupcompleting).
ZTMF-VAL-DVS-StartupBegun
specifies configured volumes that have just begun automatic startup
processing. The associated disk process is processing the initial startup
requests for these volumes. Typically, a data volume remains in this state
only very briefly.
