Tokens in Response Buffer
ZTMF-MAP-Info-Catalog
is an extensible structured token containing the attributes of the catalog process.
This token contains the following fields:
ZRetainDepth
specifies the number of online dump generations retained in the catalog.
ZReleased
specifies the status to which online or audit tape volumes are set after all
dumps on the volumes are marked for deletion. The following values are
possible:
ZRoundRobin
specifies how scratch tapes will be allocated from the pool of available tapes.
The following values are valid:
ZLastReel
specifies the name of the last tape used if round-robin is turned on. If round-
robin is turned off, the value of ZLastReel is spaces. If TMF is not started, the
value of ZLastReel is nulls.
Usage Guidelines
Any user can issue this command.
You can enter this command at any time, whether or not TMF has been started.
ZSPI-VAL-True The status of a tape volume is changed to
Released
ZSPI-VAL-False The status of a tape volume is changed to Scratch
ZSPI-VAL-True TMF selects tapes by going through the pool
completely before starting over again.
ZSPI-VAL-False TMF starts from the beginning of the pool every
time it must select a tape to use.
