Reconfiguring TMF Processes
Several configuration options apply to TMF processes. This section describes how to
reconfigure these options and explains when you might want to do so.
This section contains the following topics:
You most typically reconfigure processes to improve load balancing. You would do
this, for example, to place the primary and backup transaction management processes
(TMPs) in different processors to avoid contention with other processes that use
resources intensively.
Process configuration parameters other than available processors (the CPUS
parameter) should be changed only under special circumstances.
