TR3271 Management Programming Manual

COMMANDS AND RESPONSES
INFO Command
ZREAD-CMD An enumerated value that specifies whether the
TR3271 subsystem accepts the Read Buffer and
Read Modified command from the host. The value
ZTR3-VAL-READ-NONE causes the subsystem to reject
the Read Buffer and Read Modified commands. The
value ZTR3-VAL-READ-ALL causes the subsystem to
accept both the Read Buffer and Read Modified
commands. ZTR3-VAL-READ-RDMOD causes the subsys-
tem to accept the Read Modified command, but
reject the Read Buffer command.
The Read Buffer command is supported only for
CRT subdevices. If your management application
specifies the ZTR3-VAL-READ-ALL for PTP
subdevices, Read Buffer commands are rejected.
This restriction is imposed by the protocol used
by PTP subdevices. The default value for this
field is ZTR3-VAL-READ-NONE.
ZRETRY An integer that specifies the number of times the
TR3271 retransmits data as a result of data link
errors before returning an error. The value must
be in the 1 through 14 range. The default is 3.
ZSYNCS An integer that specifies the number of SYN
characters that precede each frame. The value
must be in the 1 through 14 range. The default
is 3.
ZTEST-INTVL A timestamp that specifies the interval, in .01
seconds, at which the status probe is issued to
the CLIP. The value must be in the range 0
through 5:27:67. If the value is 0, no status
probe will be issued. The default is :10 (10
seconds).
ZTHRES An integer that specifies the statistics thresh-
old values. This value defines the number of
frames to be transmitted and received before line
quality is checked. The value must be in the
0 through 32767 range. If the value is 0, the
threshold is ignored. The default is 0.
ZTIMEOUT A timestamp that specifies the line I/O timeout
value, in .01 seconds. This value defines how
long the I/O process waits before retrying when
a data link error occurs. The value must be in
the range 00:00.6 through 00:10. The default is
00:02.7.
