TS/MP 2.5 Release Supplement

Displaying Information
You can use different commands to display the ACS subsystem information.
Displaying ACS Subsystem Configuration
Use the INFO command to display the configuration values set by the ADD and ALTER commands.
For more information on this command, see “INFO Command” (page 72). For example:
INFO ACS $ZACS, DETAIL
Displaying ACS Domain Coordinator ($ZACS) Name
Use the NAMES command to display the name of the domain coordinator process. For more
information on this command, see “NAMES Command” (page 74). For example:
NAMES ACS $ZACS
Displaying ACS Subsystem and Processor Status
Use the STATUS command to display the current, operational status of the ACS subsystem. For
more information on this command, see “STATUS Command” (page 80). For example:
STATUS ACS $ZACS, DETAIL
Displaying ACS Subsystem Version
Use the SCF VERSION command to display the version number of the ACS subsystem. For more
information on this command, see “VERSION Command” (page 83). For example:
VERSION ACS $ZACS, DETAIL
Restarting ACS Subsystem Processes in a CPU
Use the CONTROL command to restart the ACS subsystem processes in one or more CPUs. Changes
made with the CONTROL command modify the operational status of the ACS subsystem, and not
the ACS subsystem configuration. For more information on this command, see “CONTROL
Command” (page 69). For example:
CONTROL ACS $ZACS, PROCESSORLIST (2, 3), ENABLE
Restarting the ACS Subsystem
A complete description for configuring and starting the ACS subsystem during installation of TS/MP
2.5 is described in “Installing and Configuring” (page 53). To restart the subsystem when it is in
the STOPPED state, perform the following steps:
1. Start $ZACS
a. Use the SCF STATUS PROCESS command to check whether the $ZACS process has
started. For example:
STATUS PROCESS $ZZKRN.#ZACS, DETAIL
b. Use the SCF START command interactively or in an OBEY file to start the $ZACS process:
ASSUME PROCESS $ZZKRN
START #ZACS
c. Use the SCF STATUS command, described in Step 1, to verify whether the $ZACS process
has started.
2. Start the ACS Subsystem
a. Use the SCF START command to start the ACS subsystem. For more information on this
command, see “START Command” (page 75). For example:
