TS/MP 2.5 Release Supplement

The following command restarts ACS processes in all CPUs on the remote system \PLUTO:
CONTROL ACS \PLUTO.$ZACS, ALL, ENABLE
DELETE Command
Use the DELETE command to remove the ACS subsystem. This command deletes the ACS object
from the SCF subsystem configuration file (BCINI), and then deletes the BCINI file; it does not
uninstall the ACS subsystem.
NOTE: Before issuing this command, you must do the following:
1. Stop the TS/MP server classes and PATHMON processes.
2. Stop the ACS subsystem.
The command displays a prompt asking you to verify the command before it is run.
This is a sensitive command.
Syntax Summary
DELETE [ /OUT file-spec/ ] [ object-spec ]
Syntax Description
specifies a file for the output of this command. The file can be on the same physical system
as the ACS subsystem or on any system in the same Expand network.
OUT file-spec
specifies the name of the ACS object to be deleted. The fully qualified object-spec has
the format:
object-spec
[ ACS ] [ system-name.]$ZACS
system-name is the physical, Guardian name of the system in which the object is being
added and configured.
If you have specified the SCF object type (ACS) or any portion of the object name
(acs-spec) in a prior ASSUME command, you can omit it in this command. For information
about the ASSUME command, see the SCF Reference Manual.
If you have not used a prior ASSUME command and you omit system-name, the command
defaults to the local physical system.
Examples
The following commands show two different ways to remove an ACS object from the ACS subsystem
on the local system.
DELETE ACS $ZACS
or
ASSUME ACS $ZACS DELETE
The following command deletes the ACS subsystem on the remote system \PLUTO:
DELETE ACS \PLUTO.$ZACS
INFO Command
Use the INFO command to display the current ACS subsystem configuration (the values set by the
ADD, ALTER, and CONTROL commands and stored in the BCINI file).
This is a non-sensitive command.
The display for the DETAIL option includes the number of ROUT processes configured per CPU,
if the ROUT process is configured as a high PIN process.
