TS/MP 2.5 Release Supplement

The following START command initiates the process of starting the ACS subsystem on the remote
system \PLUTO:
START ACS \PLUTO.$ZACS
STATS Command
Use the STATS command to instruct each processor to return current operational statistics about
its requestor and server class link usage. The ACS command is modified to accept the server
classname as a parameter.
Syntax Summary
STATS [/OUT <filenamedisk-file-spec>] <object-spec>
{[,SERVER <server-name>
[,OPTION]}
Syntax Description
When the server-name is provided, it will be a server classname for which the statistics are
required or reset. Otherwise, ACS returns the statistics or resets the statistics for all the server classes
which have links. It also supports a wildcard (*) character.
<server-name>
Required only when a server-name is provided, else it is optional. The following values are used:OPTION
DETAIL
ACS breaks down the processor statistics on a Pathway domain, on server class basis for the
specified server classes by the server-name parameter. If the <server-name> parameter
is not specified, then ACS lists the detailed statistics for all the server classes.
RESET
ACS resets its internal counts for the server classes specified by the server-name parameter.
If server-name parameter is not specified, ACS resets the statistics for all the server classes.
NOTE: The RESET option does not reset the internal count maintained within the PATHMON and
Pathcom processes.
The Processor-based statistics are as follows:
Report per processor on target system
Total Number of Pathway domains currently open
NOTE: A Pathway domain may include multiple PATHMON processes that will be counted
as a single domain. If a PATHMON environment is not defined in a Pathway domain, it will
also be counted for display.
Total number of server classes in use.
Total number of links to all server classes.
Total number of current Pathsend Requestors.
Average, Standard Deviation, and Maximum number of concurrent server class Send or Dialog
send operations.
The Pathway domain-based statistics per server class across all associated PATHMON processes
are as follows:
Number of Dynamic Links to a server class.
Number of Static Links to a server class.
Average, Standard Deviation, and Maximum for the time to acquire and open a link.
Average, Standard Deviation, and Maximum for the number of requests processed per second.
Average, Standard Deviation, and Maximum for the time it takes to perform a server class
Send or Dialog Send operation.
