Planning the Backout

You must fulfill the following prerequisites before planning to backout your system:

•

TS/MP 2.0 cannot reside in the same system as TS/MP 2.1 or later releases.

•

The ACS subsystem must be stopped and removed from the system configuration

before re-installing TS/MP 2.0.

•

Components of TS/MP 2.1 or later releases that conflict with TS/MP 2.0 must be

deleted before reinstalling TS/MP 2.0.

•

TS/MP 2.0 LINKMON must be added to the system configuration.

Performing the Backout

To perform the backout to TS/MP 2.0:

1. Stop the Pathsend requesters.

2. Prepare a new system image that contains TS/MP 2.0.

3. Stop the ACS subsystem through SCF.

4. Stop the Domain Controller Process and delete the ACS subsystem from the

Persistence Manager's configuration database (

$ZPM).

5. Add the TS/MP 2.0 LINKMON to the system configuration.

6. Restart the system with the new system image.

Note. Before backing out and returning to TS/MP 2.0, you must consult HP support if you

have installed TS/MP 2.1 or later releases and have run applications that use Pathsend

requesters.
