To add a new Pathway domain, it is not mandatory to stop and restart the ACS
subsystem. You can add a new Pathway domain in the ACSCTL file and use the SCF
CONTROL ACS command. For more information on the SCF CONTROL ACS

Configuration and Environment Limits
This section describes the configuration and environment limits for Pathsend
requesters. The Pathsend requester limits define architectural constraints. Practical
limits might be lower depending on the physical hardware available (for example,
memory). Therefore, because performance characteristics might be different, you
might need to reevaluate your configuration. For more information on tuning application

.
