Modifying the Configuration
Use the SCF ALTER command to permanently modify attribute values for the ACS
subsystem. The attribute values are:
LOG1 or LOG2 files
domain name
ACSCTL file
HIGHPIN configuration of the ROUT process
The values specified with the
ALTER command remain in effect until the ALTER
command is run again.
Procedure:
To alter the ACS subsystem attributes:
1. Stop the Pathsend requesters.

2. Use the
STOP command to stop the ACS subsystem.

3. Use the
STATUS command to verify that the ACS subsystem has stopped. For
more information on this command, see STATUS Command

4. Use the ALTER command to modify the subsystem configuration.
