How This Manual Is Organized
A standard glossary for all NonStop TS/MP and Pathway/iTS manuals contains all
terms relevant to these products.
Note that the glossary in this manual includes definitions related to the Parallel
Transaction Processing (PTP) Services for the CICS API product. PTP is a trademark
of HP. CICS™ is a trademark of IBM corporation. CICS, when used in this manual,
refers to products, technologies, architectures, processes, standards, or APIs
originated by IBM corporation. The term “CICS server” or “CICS application,” for
example, when used in this manual, refers to a server or application that will
interoperate with an IBM API. The PTP Services product is compatible with
applications for IBM corporation’s CICS products.
