Configuration Limits and Defaults
Table C-1 lists global limits for various items within each Pathway environment. These
limits are applicable for TS.MP 2.0.
Note. These limits are subject to change with product SPRs or with new software releases.

ASSIGNs Maximum total of 4095 (for TS/MP 2.0 and 2.1) or 8191 (for TS/MP 2.3 and
later versions) for all server classes.
Component

Internal table limit of 64 KB for total of named components (server classes,
server processes, LINKMON processes, ASSIGNs, PARAMs, and
Pathway/iTS TCPs, TELL objects, and TERM objects) within a Pathway
environment.
Internal table limit of 4 KB (for TS/MP 2.0 and 2.1) or 8 KB (for TS/MP 2.3
and later versions) for each of the following within a Pathway environment:
server classes, server processes, ASSIGNs, PARAMs, DEFINEs, and
Pathway/iTS TCPs, TELL objects, and TERM objects.
LINKMON
processes
One per processor.
PATHMON processes:
Maximum of 256 Pathway environments with which a LINKMON process can
communicate.
Server classes:
Maximum of 1024 server classes to which a LINKMON process can have
outstanding links across all Pathway environments.
Links to server processes:
Maximum of 1750 concurrent links to server processes across all Pathway
environments, per LINKMON process.
Maximum concurrent links to the same server process, per LINKMON
process, is the value of LINKDEPTH.
Concurrent Pathsend operations:
Maximum of 1600 concurrent, outstanding Pathsend calls per LINKMON
process.
Pathsend requesters:
Maximum of 1024 concurrent Pathsend requesters per LINKMON process.
