SYSTEM Command

SYSTEM Command
The SYSTEM command sets the default system name.
This command sets the default system name, \ system, which is used to resolve
ambiguous file names.
The default \ system value is the system in which X3PAD runs.
If the command is specified without a parameter, the default \ system setting is
reinstated.
VOLUME Command
The VOLUME command sets the volume default value for resolving ambiguous file
names.
The initial default values for $volume and subvolume are the volume and subvolume
in effect when X3PAD is started.
If the command is specified without a parameter, the initial default $volume and
subvolume settings are reinstated.
X3PAD Example
Example 4-1 on page 4-24 illustrates an X3PAD session
SYSTEM [ \ system ]
\ system is a Guardian system name.
VOLUME [ $ volume [. subvolume ] [ subvolume ]
$ volume is the name of the volume.
subvolume is the name of the subvolume.
